International Programs

Linden Lab provides several programs that enable international businesses, organizations or communities to bring their members onto the Second Life Grid. These programs are designed to equip you with the tools to:

• Customize an inworld experience to any localized or international audience
• Extend your presence to a customized community
• Increase member retention through development of targeted content

At this time, Linden Lab is redesigning our Community Gateway and International programs and they are currently closed to new applications. If you are interested in our International programs, please send us email with the country you would like to support, contact information and a brief description of your program and we'll contact you when we relaunch the programs.

The new programs will require participation in the Registration API program as a prerequisite for application, so you can use the Registration API program to get started building your community and experience on the Second Life Grid now.

About Our Registration API Program

The Registration API enables you to create a custom registration path on your website with your branding to bring your community onto the Second Life Grid to an initial experience you provide. The Registration API is designed to be the entry point for our International Programs. At least 3 months use of the Registration API is a minimum requirement for entry to these programs.
